Lotti Katrina Mansfield & Lorenzo Gilly Enrich
Lotti was trained as a jeweller in the Firenze institute of Florence. The ancestral home of the Medici Family and the epicentre of renaissance jewellry. Starting in the Fifteenth century with the patronage of the prominent banker Cosimo de Medici and carried further still by his grandson Lorenzo De Medici. Artists and artisans such as Michaelangelo, Ghiberti and Botticelli bloomed under the Medici's support and patronage to create beautiful artifacts for the city. If you walk amongst Florence today you will still be struck by the labours of those artisans, everyone who took part in their creation is little more than dust, yet their beauty still stands. Lorenzo saw great talents unappreciated in his life and ensured that they would be remembered for the beauty they could great. We hope to do the same.
